Now these three things remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

Happy Thanksgiving
We celebrated this Thanksgiving with the DeVree side. We had a huge feast at 1:00 at Dad and Mom's. Turkey, mash potatoes, corn, stuffing, rolls, green bean casserole, cauliflower salad, & jello rolls are are a few of the items we stuffed our faces with. I think everyone wanted to expand their pants before leaving the table.
After dinner we went down stairs & tried out David & A
mber's new Wii Fit. It breaks my heart to say, Scot KICKED my butt at every event. I didn't think it would be that great of a work out, but I ended up taking off my sweater because I was building up a sweat. We all had a great time with lots of laughs. We ended our time together by reviewing the adds for black Friday & making a plan on when we are leaving. Scot & I are meeting Dad & Mom for breakfast at 7:30. After breakfast, Mom & I are going our own way & Dad & Scot are hitting Lowes & Gemens.

Scot's Barn
This summer Scot started to build his barn. A barn has been
on Scot's wish list for a few years. This winter he plans on finishing his office in the barn and building a work bench. This week the heat was installed and Scot now has somewhere to hang out this winter. Here our a few pictures of the inside of the barn. I am hoping to use the barn for a few parties!!

Quote of the Week
Let Go and Let God -
As children bring their broken toys,
with tears to us to mend, I brought
my broken dreams to God, because
He is my friend. But then instead
of leaving Him in peace to work
alone, I hung around and tried
to help, with ways that were my own.
At last, I snatched them back again
and cried, "How can you be so slow?"
"My Child" he said, "What could I do?
You never did let go."

Three More Trick or Treaters
Tonight our nephews, Tristan, Bradan, & Jayce came over Trick or Treating. They were unable to make it on Friday night because they went to the Outdoor Discovery Center as a family to enjoy their Halloween Festivities. So really, in 2008 I had 7 trick or treaters! That is our new record!!!
Happy 80th Birthday Grandpa DeVree
Today we celebrated Grandpa's 80th Birthday. My Grandpa actually turned 80 on November 1st. Today we celebrated his birthday with a lunch at my parents. My Uncle Jim & Aunt Kris and their two children also joined us in this celebration. We had a great time catching up with one another. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon!
