No Power Again....

We lost our power in the middle of the night and it is not expected to come on till 11 tonight. We have lost our power several times already this summer. I am so THANKFUL for having a generator!! However, the generator can not run the AC and it was so sticky in our house today. When Scot got home from work we headed straight to my parent's pool to cool off. The girls have so much fun playing in the pool.

Scot found a new way to carry Alysha around. Skylar is our litte water bug. She LOVES the water!!!
Amber and David lost their power as well so they came swimming as well. The kids had a lot of fun playing with one another. Alysha walking around in Eli's shoes.

The kids swam so hard that they had to refuel with some chips! When everyone was done swimming they took a ride on Aunt Sarah's gator and had to play on the swingset.

Our Camping Trip

We did our first camping trip for the year to Hungry Horse in Dorr. We went from Thursday to Sunday, which is just enough time with two 18 month olds. We had a great time. It was nice to camp close to home because Scot was still able to go to work on Friday. It was a bit stressful with the girls on Friday by myself but we made it. I was so thankful the girls slept great in the camper. Here we are on Friday morning having breakfast in the camper. The girls riding their cars around our campsite.

Here we are enjoying the yummy omelet Scot made for breakfast on Saturday morning.
The girls loved swimming in the pool. Hungry Horse has a really nice wading pool for the kids which was perfect for Skylar and Alysha. They enjoyed walking in and out and playing with their toys in the pool.

4th of July Weekend

Our Fourth of July weekend was spent having a garage sale and spending time with family & friends. This is was the first time we had a garage sale at my parents home and it went very well. I was able to sell some of the girls clothes and a few of my bigger items. I still have a lot left.

Sarah sitting at the garage sale. Lee and Cadence were also helping at the garage sale.
I think the funniest part of the 4th of July weekend was watching Amber help Sarah and Chris weigh their sheep. Amber had to hold a sheep and then step on a scale. By the look on her face those sheep weigh ALOT!!!
Alysha loves being in the barn around the animals. My niece Gwen.

18 Month Pics

It is so hard for me to believe that Skylar and Alysha are one and a half already! I am more amazed by what they can now do and what they can get into. I believe both of their favorite word is "NO".

We had coffee at my grandparents home this afternoon and was able to get the girls' 18 month pics done. My grandparents have really nice landscaping and it helped to have extra set of hands to entertain the girls and make them smile.
