Now these three things remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

ArtPrize 2010
Tonight, Andrea, Landon, Marcy, Reece, Cambry, Skylar, Alysha and I all went downtown Grand Rapids to check out ArtPrize. What a cool experience! The weather was perfect and the kids did great! I have never really taken the time to walk downtown Grand Rapids and it really is a cool city. I strongly recommend you check out ArtPrize if you have the chance. You will be amazed how many different types of art is downtown and how many there is in one spot. Every where you go you will see something cool or different depending on your style. Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure
This morning Amber, Cadence and I all participated in the Susan G. Koman 5K at River Town Crossings in Grandville. It was an early morning, we had to meet the team at 7:15. We joined the team for my Aunt Karen, Kickin it up for Karen. Us before the race:There were 5,635 participants at this years race and 189 teams. It was cool to see all the different team shirts and all the spirit they had. During the race they had several people cheering us on on the route. That was a huge help to keep going! Us After the Race:Cadence and I walked/ran the 5k this morning. We both finished it with a time of 38:30. Amber ran the whole 5k (with two very short stops) and finished it with a time of 35:34. Next year our goal is to run the whole thing and to beat our times. We had a great time together this morning!!

Labor Day Weekend
We had a great Labor Day Weekend. Friday, Scot came home from working up north for the past week. It was great to have him back home. He was super excited to see the girls and swears they grew a lot in just a week. I asked him to lower the girls crib ASAP because Miss Skylar finds it a lot of fun to stand up in her crib. She will be walking in no time.Saturday night the Balder family came over for dinner. We had a great steak dinner. It was so much fun to watch Mason and Colton play with the girls. I can't believe how small my new nephew, Bryson, looks next to Alysha. Our girls look like tanks next to Bryson. It will be fun watching them grow up together.Sunday we had a birthday celebration for my Dad, my brother, and my nephew at my parents home. My sister, Sarah, made Eli a John Deere Tractor cake. It turned out really cute. Eli had a great time opening up his gifts. Thankfully, Eli liked the gift from us and Sarah and Chris. This afternoon the girls were able to spend some time playing with Daddy.Today, Scot and I celebrated our 8th Anniversary. I can't believe it has been eight years already. The years do fly bye. Scot surprised me with a digital Canon Rebel camera that I have wanted for the past few months. I am so excited to learn all of the funtions and be able to take the girls pictures as they grow. We went out for dinner to Logan's.
