Happy Valentine's Skylar & Alysha!!

This evening Skylar, Alysha and I celebrated Valentine's Day! Unfortunately, Scot is working up north and missed out on the celebration. We were able to Skype with him and the girls were excited to tell him Happy Valentine's Day!!

A teddy bear was the gift Scot and I got the girls, which was a huge hit!

After our exciting dinner of grilled cheese, the girls were treated with a chunky, chocolate brownie! Happy Valentine's Day Girls. Mommy and Daddy LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Valentine's with Grandma Van Dam

Grandma Van Dam came over this afternoon to give Skylar and Alysha their Valentine's. The girls received cute paper in the shape of a purse, fruit snacks, washable markers, and mini M&Ms. The girls had a good time playing with Grandma for a little while. The girls were SO EXCITED about the M&Ms.

Fun Outside in February!?!?

What a FANTASTIC winter so far! I am loving the fact that we have had more days with grass showing then days covered with snow. Today the weather was mid 40s and the girls were itchy to get outside. We spent an hour outside. The girls had a blast riding their quad and swinging in the backyard. I think we all enjoy getting some fresh air!

Skylar and Alysha LOVE taking tubbies. They can spend 45 minutes in the tub with no problem. Their fingers always look like prunes when they get out.

Alysha with No Nap Equals???

Falling DEAD asleep during dinner! Yep, that is right, the girls skipped their nap today and Alysha was beyond tired around 6:00. Before, Scot and I knew it, Alysha was dead out. We would try to wake her up by saying her name and she barely could open her eyes. Her response was a slight smile on her face and she started to laugh. Scot swears she was laughing in her sleep! We ended up putting her to bed at 6:30 and she slept till 7:30 the next morning. Evening Skylar was laughing at her sister!
