Happy Easter to you all! What a FANTASTIC EASTER!!! Our Easter started with attending a wonderful church service. I was excited to have the girls wear their Easter dresses. The girls had a lot of fun playing in the nursery. When we got home the girls went down for a nap and we had to wake them up around 12:45 to head over to my parents for lunch. 
We had a delicious lunch at my parents. Alysha did a fantastic job eating ham and sweet potatoes. I think the only thing Skylar ate was corn and saltine crackers.....oh well. 
After lunch the girls opened their gifts from Aunt Sarah and Uncle Chris. Skylar and Alysha each received three books. Thanks Aunt Sarah and Uncle Chris!!

Later in the afternoon my Mom and Dad had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Alysha loved hunting for the eggs. She wanted to hold all her eggs and did not want to put any in her basket. Skylar on the other hand wanted nothing to do with the Easter egg hunt. She just wanted to walk around. Thanks Papa and Grandma for the girls fun stuff in their Easter baskets!!!

After he finished making the cookies out of bag he was explaining to me how that only took 12 minutes and that he should have cookies everyday. I explained to him how it took longer to make homemade cookies from scratch. Scot then decided he was going to make cookies from scratch. It took him a while to pick out the perfect recipe but he selected, World's Best Chocolate Chip Cookies.

I must say they tasted REALLY good. The best part, I didn't have to make them. After making the cookies from scratch I think Scot realized how much longer it took.
