Girls Night Out
This past Tuesday night Scot watched the girls and I was able to have a girls night out. My girls night out was next door for our annual Van Dam Girls get together. My mother-in-love, Jill, started a new tradition a few years ago where us girls get together at her home and we are spoiled and pampered for a night. This year the summer theme was flip flops. We start the night with a great meal. This year the huge spread included the following: beer bread with a hot spinach dip, orange chicken, crackers and a hot cheese dip, three different types of crescent rolls filled with three different fillings, fruit skewers, potato skins and a few more items. Dessert was home made cream puffs....YUMMY!!!
After dinner us girls received huge gift bags from Mom filled with tons of fun stuff.

Flip flops, recipe book, lotion, daisy kitchen scrubber, homemade soap, sugar cookie, decorative scarf, watch, are just a few examples of what we found in our gift bag.
